‍2026 VILLAGE CALENDAR

‍The 2026 Village of Ridgewood Calendar will be arriving in mailboxes soon! In it you'll find a special collection of historic photographs from Ridgewood's past - familiar locations, iconic buildings and long-standing traditions.

‍CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP

‍Curbside Christmas tree pickup will take place from January 2 through January 30 - Tuesdays on the East Side and Thursdays on the West Side. Please remove all decorations and lights before bringing your tree to the curb. Wreaths and garland will be collected with regular garbage pickup. Residents may bring their own tree to the Graydon Pool parking lot any day of the week.

‍OVERNIGHT PARKING REMINDER

‍RECYCLE YOUR FOAM!

Please help keep Styrofoam out of landfills. Bring your foam packaging to the Recycling Center, where it is "densified" and sold to a New Jersey manufacturer. The material is then given a second life as picture frames, moldings, furniture and other durable products.

‍PARKING PERMITS AVAILABLE

‍Ridgewood parking permits are being sold at the Reception Desk in the lobby of Village Hall, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. You must bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration(s) for the vehicle(s) you would like to register for a parking permit.

Application forms are available on the Village website. To expedite the process, please download and fill out the appropriate form, and bring it with you to Village Hall. Forms also will be available at the Reception Desk.

Ridgewood resident one-day parking permits require a Ridgewood sticker, which is free of charge, and can be obtained at the Reception Desk. You must bring your driver’s license and vehicle registration(s) for the vehicle(s) you would like to use with the one-day parking permit.

‍RECEPTION AT THE STABLE

‍"Trees," 40 photographs by Ridgewood resident Larry Horowitz, are on display at The Stable through the end of the year. The diverse images include woodland scenes; details of bark, leaves, flowers and fruit; and tree "portraits." Meet Larry at a reception at The Stable on Sunday, December 28, 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
