‍DOWNTOWN FOR
THE HOLIDAYS!

D‍owntown for the Holidays is happening TODAY - 6:00 to 9:00 pm, with the tree lighting taking place at 6:45 pm.

Here's what you need to know about street closures and parking for the evening's festivities. Streets indicated in red on the map will be closed from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

  • East Ridgewood Avenue will be closed between Broad Street and Maple Avenue.
  • Broad Street will be closed from Franklin Avenue to Hudson Street.
  • South Walnut Street and Van Neste Square will be closed between East Ridgewood Avenue and Dayton Street.
  • There will be limited access to Chestnut, Oak, Walnut and Cottage streets from Franklin Avenue. However, parking is discouraged because these roads will become "one way in/out."
  • Handicapped parking is available in the Hudson Street parking garage.
  • The Station Plaza, Chestnut, Cottage and Prospect Street parking lots will all be open for the event.
  • Plan to arrive early!

Please note: "No Parking" signs will be posted along the route. Vehicles will need to be moved from the closed area starting at 3:30 pm. Vehicles that remain inside the perimeter will not be allowed to leave after the roads are closed.
