‍POLICE DEPARTMENT
ADVISORY

Please be vigilant in reporting suspicious activity and vehicles to the Ridgewood Police Department as Ridgewood and surrounding towns have experienced an increase in motor vehicle and residential burglaries. Car thieves have become more brazen, obtaining the keys to high-end vehicles parked in driveways by breaking into houses.

  • Be sure to lock and secure your vehicle(s) and home, including house windows and sliding glass doors.
  • If you have a burglar alarm, remember to set it.
  • Don't keep your car keys near a door. Bring them into your bedroom when you retire for the night.

‍RX TAKE BACK DAY
