‍ONE MILLION MINUTES OF WELLNESS |

‍Also this past Saturday, the Health Department launched the Village-wide 1 Million Minutes of Wellness Challenge in Memorial Park with the support of several community partners:
Â
- FIT4MOM Bergen held a total-body conditioning class for new mothers.
- Matt Lindenberg, chair of the Open Space Committee, led an educational walk around the park.
- Fitometry Health Club sponsored a fresh air yoga flow.
- Toastique treated participants and passersby to samples of cold-pressed juices.Â

Visit the Wellness Challenge web page to learn about the 12-week challenge, which is designed to introduce participants of all ages and abilities to the eight pillars of wellness and unite individuals, families, schools, businesses and houses of worship around the shared goal of building a healthier community - one minute at a time.Â

On Wednesday evening, the Ridgewood Baseball and Softball Association (RBSA) held two exciting all-star games under the lights at Veterans Field. The LED lighting was made possible through the Village Capital Budget and a Bergen County Open Space Grant, along with contributions from the Board of Education, RBSA, Maroons Soccer Club, Ridgewood Junior Football Association and Ridgewood Lacrosse Association. |

‍Ridgewood’s inaugural Porchfest is happening this Saturday, September 20, with performances from 1:00 to 2:55 pm on Brookside and Spring Avenues, and from 3:00 to 7:15 pm on the lawn at West Side Presbyterian Church. Food trucks will be at both locations, plus a wine and beer truck on the West Side. Spread the word and bring your friends to this free, family-friendly celebration of local talent, good vibes and great music! |
