‍CONGRATS, OFFICERS!

‍At Wednesday night's Village Council Meeting, Mayor Paul Vagianos swore in three new members of the Ridgewood Police Department. Officers Felice Bonanno, Paul Doyle and Edward Moodie graduated from the police academy in June and have been completing their field training with veteran officers.

In addition, Chief Forest Lyons awarded Officer Isaiah Walters the RPD's inaugural "Officer of the Year Award," which was voted on by members of the department. Among his accomplishments in 2024, Officer Walters recovered two illegal firearms during a traffic stop and made multiple other significant arrests.
We are grateful to all the members of the RPD for keeping our community safe!

Whether it’s a morning walk or run, reading a book, doing a crossword puzzle, taking a fitness class, working in the garden, playing a sport, or sharing a meal with family or friends, every minute counts.
