‍THE NUMBERS ARE IN!

‍We are excited to share the news that the Village was awarded $225,141.44 in grants in 2024. The grants are helping to pay for important projects and equipment including upgraded lighting at Veterans Field, an ADA-accessible playground at Habernickel Park, bulletproof vests for the Police Department and thermal imaging cameras for the Fire Department. An additional $4.5 million in grant opportunities are pending review. 


‍BLOOD DRIVE TODAY

Roll up your sleeve and donate blood TODAY at Village Hall, 12:00 to 6:00 pm. Did you know that ONE donation can save up to THREE lives? Call or email to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins also are welcome.


‍COUNCIL CHAT COMING UP

‍The first Council Chat of the year will take place on Saturday, March 8 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Caucus Room on the 4th floor of Village Hall. If you would like to talk with two of our elected officials, please call 201-670-5500, ext. 2207 to reserve a time slot. Walk-ins also are welcome, but residents with appointments will be accommodated first.

‍Applications are being accepted for the ULTIMATE SUMMER JOB IN RIDGEWOOD!

 

Working at Graydon isn't just a job, however. It's a unique summer experience that builds skills, confidence and friendships - whether you're a camp counselor, lifeguard, swim instructor or member of the badge staff. Plus, you get to be out in the sun instead of stuck indoors!

Details and applications are available online and at The Stable. 

Encourage the high school students (16+) and young adults in your life to apply! 


Application deadline: April 1. Training will begin in late April/early May.
