‍CLEANING UP
FRANKLIN AVENUE

The environmental remediation at the Town Garage site (120 Franklin Avenue) and at the North Walnut Street Parking Lot (132 Franklin Avenue) is moving forward. Seven fuel tanks have been removed from the parking lot, and material from the Town Garage property continues to be excavated and removed by the prior owner.

‍CURBSIDE COLLECTION

‍All garbage and recycling containers must be placed at the curb (not in the street) TODAY, February 7 to help ensure the health and safety of our sanitation team.

Rear-yard garbage collection will likely resume on Monday, February 10. But please continue to bring your containers to the curb until you have a clear path to your home.

Thank you for doing your part in helping to keep Village employees safe!

‍'SOUPER BOWL OF CARING'

‍Village employees are collecting shelf-stable pantry items and personal hygiene products for the Ridgewood YMCA's "Beyond Pantry," while showing off our team spirit! If you would like to join us, you may drop off your donations at Village Hall (first floor Garden Room) by 4:00 pm TODAY, February 7.

‍PROPERTY TAXES DUE

By NJ statute, property taxes are due February 1. However, there's a grace period! All payments must be received in the Finance Office by Monday, February 10 to avoid the assessment of interest charges. Postmarks are not accepted. You may also pay your taxes online.

‍VILLAGE HALL CLOSURES

Village Hall will be closed on Wednesday, February 12 in observance of Lincoln's Birthday, and on Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents' Day. There will be no garbage, recycling or bulk refuse collection, and the Recycling Center will be closed.
